Congratulations, goes out to Black, captain of his team Too Serious, for winning the first ever Loop Leagues of America Championship Title and bringing the trophy back to Poole Palace 2, located in Decatur, GA. The tournament was held at Barley’s Billiards July 30, 2005.

CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT

On July 30, 2005, 4 teams with 5 players each, made it to the league’s championship playoffs, which were held at Barley’s Billiards, located in Downtown Atlanta.

Too Serious and Ace Cargo represented Poole Palace 2 out of Decatur Ga., while, Top Gunz and On Tap, the leagues first all female team, represented JR’s Billiards out of Atlanta.

 1^st ROUND PLAYOFFS

Top Gunz was defeated by Ace Cargo, 123 to 111.

Too Serious defeated On Tap 138 to 107.

 It was a tough 1^st round for JR’s Billiards. Both of JR’s teams were eliminated in the first round, making it an all Poole Palace 2 championship final.

CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND

Well, it was a win/lose and a win/win situation for Poole Palace 2.

Too Serious defeated Ace Cargo 115 to 113, in the championship round, to take first place and the trophy back to Decatur, a.k.a “The Deck”.

1^st place & trophy went to Too Serious, Ace Cargo took 2^nd place, 3^rd place went to Top Gunz and On Tap came in 4^th.
